The executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye has commended Chief Joseph Penawou, Chief Executive of Penawou Foundation for annually complementing government in providing healthcare needs through its medical outreach programm to indigenes of Akugbene town and environs.

Andaye reiterated that from records the Penawou Foundation Medical outreach programme has been an annual programme for over the years where thousands of people who cannot sought healthcare services outside the locality but gets reprieved through the Penawou Foundation Medical outreach in the locality.

The executive chairman of Bomadi Council Area Andaye made these remarkes at Akugbene town during the flagg-off ceremony of the Joseph Penawou Foundation Medical outreach programme which attracted a large turnout of indigent men and women.

Andaye who was highly joyous of the programme held that the complementarily Healthcare services provided by the foundation to the riverine communities of Akugbene, Ogbeinama, Esanma and neighbouring Okuama community in Ughelli south Council Area of the State was commendation and worthy of emulation.

While describing the State of the art medical equipment , medical specialists engaged for the three day programme positing that patients with issues of non communicable diseases would get adequate attention and be better advised on how to manage the illment.

Speaking further Andaye also commended Rt.Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Delta State for including some of Bomadi Local Government Healthcare facilities in his proposed massive plan to renovate and re-equipt healthcare facilities across the State .

He explained that domestication of healthcare services to the health care centres in Bomadi Council Area has been one his priorities added that without health no human can function optimally.

Andaye charged people of Akugbene town and environs to take the opportunity of the Penawou Foundation Medical outreach programme to receive quality medical attention and free medication.
